Yoga & Mindfulness Classes

Class Description

I teach a gentle, nurturing, feminine style of yoga, incorporating breath work, mindful movement, restorative poses, and an extended guided meditation. My classes are designed to meet the needs of women, especially mothers, through offering:

  • freedom of movement, strength and comfort
  • connection to body, breath and baby
  • restored energy and vitality
  • conscious awareness and self-compassion
  • support for mindful parenting practices
  • a sense of peace
  • a community of fellow yoga mamas

Classes are suitable for all women, including prenatal (after first trimester) and postnatal (after six week check-up) mothers. Mama & Baby Yoga is generally suitable until baby is proficiently crawling (approx 9 – 12 months). Babies are also very welcome in class on Wednesday afternoons.

Yoga & Mindfulness for Women
Monday 9:45am – 11am (from mid March – TBC)
Kalamunda Community Learning Centre – Crescent Road, Kalamunda
CRECHE available (additional cost approx $5/session)

Wednesday 11am – 12pm (from 17 February 2021)

Bookings will be through Hawaiian Forrestfield’s Facebook page (link will be provided here when available)

Yoga Shala – 10/22 Haynes Street, Kalamunda
This class welcomes all mums and is especially suitable for postpartum
Babies very welcome until proficiently crawling

Monthly Full Moon Mama Circle
Fridays 12:30 – 2:30pm

Held monthly on the Friday closest to the full moon

In addition to my public group classes, I also teach:

  • individual private lessons (ideal for new mums, shift workers, those with particular needs or goals for their practice)
  • private group classes (mothers groups, friend/family groups, retirement villages)
  • corporate group classes (staff wellness, customer incentives, events and promotions)
